Banking and cards

Connect via Plaid for live transaction sync. Statement imports (CSV, OFX, QFX, PDF) cover the gaps. SmartGL drafts the categorization; the accountant reviews and posts.

The REST API v1 (API-key auth) covers accounts, bills, entities, invoices, journal entries, sales receipts, and trial balance, with page-based pagination and standard error codes. BYOK lets you connect your own Anthropic API key for SmartGL workloads.

Which integrations are available on Essentials?

Plaid banking is available on every plan. Expense, payroll, AP-sync, tax, and commerce integrations (Ramp/Expensify, Gusto, Bill.com, Avalara, Shopify, Square, Stripe Connect) unlock on Growth and above. API access unlocks on Growth.

Do integrated transactions auto-post to the GL?

No. Integrated data flows through SmartGL the same way manual entries do, since drafts are reviewed and posted by a user.

Can I bring my own Anthropic API key?

Yes. BYOK bypasses Quoining-side AI request and dollar caps for SmartGL workloads. Plan feature gating still applies.
