Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 20, 2026
Our Commitment
Bolt Systems, LLC ("Quoining") is committed to making our accounting platform accessible to people with disabilities. We strive toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at the AA level and take guidance from the U.S. Department of Justice's web-accessibility guidance under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We have not engaged a third party to formally audit or certify conformance and do not currently publish a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT).
Accessibility Features
Quoining includes the following accessibility features:
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. The command palette (Cmd+K / Ctrl+K) provides keyboard-first access to every feature.
- Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA attributes to support screen readers.
- Color Contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios. Financial data uses distinct visual indicators beyond color alone.
- Focus Indicators: Visible focus rings on all interactive elements for keyboard users.
- Responsive Design: The interface adapts to various screen sizes and zoom levels up to 200%.
- Dark Mode: A high-contrast dark theme is available for users who prefer reduced brightness.
- Form Labels: All form inputs have associated labels and descriptive error messages.
- Data Tables: Financial tables use proper headers and are navigable with assistive technology.
- Skip Links: Skip navigation links are available for keyboard and screen reader users.
- Alt Text: Images and icons include descriptive alternative text or are marked as decorative where appropriate.
Conformance Status
We strive toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We have not had the Service independently audited against the standard and some areas of the platform may not yet meet every criterion. We work continuously to identify and resolve barriers. PDF financial-statement exports and invoice templates are generated with tagged, machine-readable structures where the underlying library supports them.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas where accessibility can be improved:
- Some complex financial charts and visualizations may not be fully accessible to screen reader users. We provide equivalent data in tabular format where possible.
- PDF financial statement exports may have limited accessibility features depending on the complexity of the report.
- Certain third-party integrations (e.g., Plaid bank connection flow) have their own accessibility characteristics outside our control.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
Quoining is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers (VoiceOver on macOS, NVDA and JAWS on Windows)
- Screen magnification software
- Speech recognition software
- Keyboard-only navigation
Third-Party Content
Our platform integrates with third-party services including Plaid (bank connections), Stripe (payments), and various expense and payroll providers. While we select partners who share our commitment to accessibility, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party interfaces or content. If you encounter accessibility issues with a third-party integration, please let us know and we will work to find an alternative solution.
Feedback & Assistance
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Quoining. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, need information in an alternative format, or require assistance using the platform, please contact us:

Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We conduct regular accessibility audits, train our development team on accessibility best practices, and incorporate accessibility testing into our development process. We review this statement and our accessibility practices at least annually.
